These cocktails will add a festive touch to your Halloween Party
Halloween is a great time to be creative with cocktails. A cocktail can make your party stand out from the rest and give it that spooky touch that everyone loves. It’s also a good way to get people talking and mixing in different groups, which can be fun for everyone! And of course, no one can resist dancing when there are drinks involved!
Here are some spooky cocktails you could try out at your next Halloween Party:
Mind Eraser
This spooky drink is a murky green cocktail that tastes mainly like orange with just a hint of better. A great for Halloween but there’s no reason to save it for just that day!
In a cocktail shaker, combine the orange juice and vodka. Optional: Add in some blue curacao for some more spooky effect (it’s not really necessary but it does make things look pretty cool). The blue curacao is what turns this drink this lovely, weird green color when it mixes with the orange juice
- Use 1/4 ounce or so of blue curacao
- 1 dash of grenadine
Black Widow
- 2 parts vodka
- 1 part blackberry brandy, such as Blos (or one of a dozen other blackberry-flavored liqueurs
- 1/2 part grenadine
- A splash of lemon juice to balance the sweetness
Mix it all together and serve in a martini glass. You can also add a drop of red food coloring if you want your drink to be more Halloween-themed.
Eyeball Martini
Creepy Halloween cocktails can be so fun. You could also just call it a lychee, matcha and blood orange martini if the eyeball part grosses you out. Either way you call it, this cocktail is both creepy and delicious
- Vodka
- Blood orange liqueur – We love Solerno.
- lychees – the fruit and the juice
- Matcha simple syrup – simple syrup infused with matcha green tea
- Fresh blueberries, start with fresh blueberries, but once the eyeballs are assembled you can freeze them.
Mix it all together and serve in a martini glass.
Dracula’s Blood Cocktail
With its deep dark red color from black cherry juice and grenadine, this Dracula’s Blood Cocktail is simply perfect for Halloween sipping. Drop in some plastic vampire teeth to add to the Halloween cocktail fun!
- 2 ounces white rum
- 3/4 ounce peach schnapps
- 3 ounces black cherry juice
- 2 teaspoons Grenadine
- fresh cherries, maraschino cherries
- Plastic vampire teeth for garnish (optional)
Jello Shots
Jello shots are great options for Halloween parties. They are simple to make, and they can be served in so many different ways. For Example
- Mold your jello into different shapes. We linked this skeleton mold to spice up your shots!
- Add food coloring to the jello base or juices you’re using for fun colors.
- Create layers of different flavors in your shot glass by adding multiple layers of colored jello before pouring vodka over it all (this will make sure it stays separate from each other. ) Then just refrigerate until set!
Bloody Mary
This is a classic drink that will definitely get you into the Halloween spirit. Fill a glass with ice, then add vodka, tomato juice and Worcestershire sauce. Add Tabasco sauce for some heat; you can make it extra spicy if you want! Add salt and pepper to taste. Finally, add celery stalks for garnish – the more stalk-y the better!
