Agavero is an ultra-premium spirit that is created from a blend of 100% blue agave añejo and reposado tequilas hand blended with the essence of Damiana flower for unparalleled smoothness and taste.

Agavero is produced at los Camichines Distillery in the Jalisco region of Mexico where the blue agave plant is grown. This officially designated region includes the state of Jalisco, parts of adjoining states and the town of tequila for which the spirit is named.

The master distiller selects the highest quality 100% blue agave añejo and reposado tequilas that have been separately aged in specially charred, French Limousin oak barrels. The añejo tequila is aged up to eighteen months and the reposado tequila is rested for nearly a year. The tequilas are combined and then hand blended with the essence of Damiana, a flower indigenous to the hot mountains of Jalisco that has been rumored for centuries to stir up the emotions among individuals.

At 64 proof, Agavero can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks or in a number of cocktails.

The name says it all: Aperol is the perfect aperitif. Bright orange in color, it has a unique taste, thanks to the secret recipe, which has never been changed, with infusions of selected ingredients including bitter and sweet oranges and many other herbs and roots in perfect proportions. Aperol’s strength is in its low-alcohol content of only 11 percent.

The bottle design is updated to give Aperol a fresh new look, maintaining a strong link with the brand heritage. The project, headed by Maurizio di Robilant, plans to maintain the shape of the bottle and streamline the graphics by making them simpler and contemporary. The label is stylish and more modern, giving greater visibility to the liquid and a medallion with the monogram ‘A’, placed over the Barbieri logo, embellishes it. Particular emphasis is also given to the spritz recipe on the back of the bottle.

Arak Razzouk is the anise-based spirit from Lebanon distilled from grape juice with fresh aniseeds, imparting its distinctive fresh savor, and making it the national beverage of its mother country. Arak Razzouk is made with special varieties of sweet mountain grapes, which are crushed and fermented, and then distilled over a low fire. Natural aniseed is then added and the mixture is distilled. The distilled product is poured into earthenware jars to age and mellow for at least six months.

ROOT traces its heritage all the way back to the 1700s when colonists were first introduced to the Root Tea that Native Americans would drink as an herbal remedy. Brewed from sassafras, sarsaparilla, wintergreen birch bark, and other roots and herbs, Root Tea was used to cure a variety of ailments. As colonial settlers passed the recipe down form generation to generation, the drink grew in potency and complexity. This was especially true in the Pennsylvania hinterlands where the ingredients naturally grew in abundance. These homemade, extra-strong Root Teas were a favorite in colonial homes and public houses all over the northeastern colonies.

Here at Art In the Age we’ve worked diligently to reproduce colonial Root Tea in all of its genuine glory. Well, we’ll be honest, you can’t use sassafras root anymore since the FDA banned it in 1960, but we’ve gotten pretty close with our special essence of sassafras made from citrus, wintergreen, and spearmint. Our certified-organic ROOT is a truly contemplative quaff, rooted in history and our own cultural landscape. It’s certainly like nothing we have ever tasted before. It is not Root Beer-flavored vodka or sickly sweet liqueur.
